Cars of all makes, models, ages, shapes, colors, and sizes tend to bring smiles to young and old alike because they invoke fond memories or spark dreams and aspirations. The Vintage Car Club was established by Shriners that love the Shrine and their cars. We just want to share our passions with everyone.

Each June, our Unit hosts one of Calgary’s favorite shows the “Show and Shrine”. Initially housed on the Al Azhar Mounted Patrol Grounds the show has graduated to a larger venue at Century Downs Racetrack and Casino in Balzac. Each year brings a new crop of restored cars as well as lots of returning crowd favorites, all to help raise money for the Shrine.

Throughout the rest of the year we host an annual Club Car Rally, Fun Runs and participate in numerous Car Show’s and Parades to promote and support our philanthropy.

To be a member of our unit, all you need is the desire to talk a lot about old cars combined with a need to laugh and have fun all while helping raise funds for the Shrine. You don’t even need to have a vintage car to join…just a desire to help and have fun.
