Kendall Horn exercised every day as a teenager.

She was an all-star basketball and soccer player from Kuper Academy in Kirkland on Montreal’s West Island, figure skated and played hockey.

Then, when she was 15, she tore her cruciate ligament playing soccer.

“It was definitely heartbreaking,” she said. “The worst pain I’ve ever felt.”
